What is Endocrine system

Endocrine system: The endocrine system is a complex network of glands, organs, and tissues in the body that produce and secrete hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones act as chemical messengers that regulate various physiological processes and maintain the body’s internal balance, or homeostasis.

The endocrine system is made up of several glands, including the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pancreas, and the reproductive glands (ovaries in females and testes in males). Each gland produces different hormones that play specific roles in the body’s functioning.
